Hansen & Jacob was founded in 2005 by Johan Hansen and Jacob Twetman. Two entrepreneurs who saw a challenge in creating a new style for the well dressed man. A casual but still a representative collection of bright colours. The quality and details of the products were a first priority. We call it "casual luxury."
In the autumn of 2006 the first collection arrived to selected stores in Sweden. A collection consisting primarily of shirts and knits. The most distinctive and talked-about product at that time was our "mixed Hansen & Jacob shirt". That is an ordinary white or blue business shirt when wearing a jacket but when removing your jacket and tie the shirt gets a more casual look with a plain front and cuff and a striped or checked back and arms.
Today, five years later, Hansen & Jacob is represented in a selected range of the best men's stores in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Portugal, Spain and France.
For us quality is everything. Every little detail plays an important role in Hansen & Jacob products. We work with the best Italian, Portuguese and Spanish weaveries. We work exclusively with European yarns and accessories. Production takes place mainly in selected factories in Europe.
We focus on fitting, details and an exclusive but yet casual look, never compromising in the choice of materials or production. Therefore, we choose small family-owned factories that work with quality instead of quantity.
Hansen & Jacob's goal is to create favourites that you wear over and over again.
